The person behind the make-up

Hello, I’m Maja.

I want you to recognise yourself in the mirror – and look forward to your moment.

As a qualified make-up artist and trained hairdresser, I take time to listen to your wishes. Together, we tailor your make-up and hair to the occasion, your outfit and your personal style.

Over 20 years of make-up, hair and character work for film, TV and stage have shaped my eye for light, impact and fine detail. This experience goes into preparing your personal styling.

Since March 2026 I have been working at the Zurich Opera House. My career has also included Theater St. Gallen. I am based in Kreuzlingen. We can discuss personal styling appointments in Switzerland and Germany on request.

Hairdressing expertise and experience in film, television and theatre form the professional foundation of my personal styling work.

  1. 1996–1998

    Hairdressing training

    Trained and qualified as a hairdresser at Haartrend Ariane Wölber.

  2. 2000–2003

    Qualified make-up artist

    Training at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich.

  3. Since 2005

    Freelance work

    Make-up and hair for film, TV series, photography, advertising and stage.

  4. Since March 2026

    Zurich Opera House

    Personal styling appointments in Switzerland and Germany are available on request.

Further training complements my qualifications, including hair extensions and thickening, hair colour, wig work, and eyelash extensions and volume lashes. It also covers mould-making, prosthetic work and airbrush techniques.
